1. What Credit Smack is
Credit Smack provides (a) a free software tool that drafts credit-dispute letters, and (b) a separate, paid education program for credit-repair business owners. The software is free; you pay only for the education.
2. Who may use it
Credit Smack is for credit-repair business owners and operators ("you"), not consumers. By using it you represent that you are operating a business, are at least 18, and will use the tool only for clients from whom you have lawful authorization to process personal data.
3. Not legal advice
Credit Smack is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The software, letter templates, statutory citations, and education are informational tools. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of every letter you send and every representation you make to your clients and to credit bureaus, furnishers, and CRAs.
4. Your compliance obligations
You are responsible for complying with all laws governing your business, including but not limited to the FCRA, FDCPA, CROA, and any state credit-services-organization and consumer-protection statutes (contracts, disclosures, bonding, fee timing, etc.). You will not use the tool to submit information you know to be false or to dispute accurate, verifiable items in bad faith.
5. The software is provided "AS IS"
The free software is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any dispute outcome, deletion, score change, or result.
6. AI-generated content
Letter text may be generated with AI and can contain errors. You must review every document before use. You are responsible for what you send.
7. The education product
Education tiers (e.g. Foundations, Operator, Mentorship) are sold separately, currently via a manual enrollment process. Pricing, scope, and access are as described at the time of purchase. Refunds: No refunds; all sales are final.
8. Acceptable use
Don't: resell or redistribute the software except as licensed; attempt to overload, scrape, or circumvent rate limits; use it for unlawful purposes; or process data you're not authorized to.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Credit Smack is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the software or education. Total liability for the free software is $0; for the paid education, it will not exceed the amount you paid.
10. Indemnification
You will indemnify Credit Smack against claims arising from your use of the tool, your letters, or your handling of your clients' data.
11. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or discontinue the free software at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
12. Governing law
State of Tennessee, USA, excluding conflict-of-laws rules.
